Live beneath the mask of lies

It hurts
Being forced to hide
Live beneath the
Mask of lies

Fearful of showing
My true self
Afraid they'll
Question my mental health

Drowning in
My misery
Tortured by
My agony

Struggle to keep
my secrets confined
Reluctantly keeping
The feelings inside

And I just want to scream:

I AM A SADIST!
I AM A MASOCHIST!
I AM A CUTTER!
I AM A VAMPIRE!
I AM DEPRESSED
I AM ANGRY
I AM ABUSIVE
I AM HOMICIDAL
I AM HATEFUL
I AM UGLY
I AM STUPID
I AM HEARTBROKEN
I AM SUICIDAL
I AM EGOTISTICAL
I AM UNSTABLE
I AM HURTFUL
I AM SELFISH
I AM GREEDY
I AM LONELY
I AM DIFFERENT

This is me and
One day
Someone will accept me
For who
I really am
