Last day of School
and the exam will be approaching soon
in the Poly, i probably be
hate to say to bye
but friends we will be
From that day you walked into our lives
you touched our hearts with utter most sincerity
teaching with such passion
showing much care and concern
give us unconditional attention
never expecting us to reciprocate
Teaching us quadratic and cubic
after hours of after lessons
learning to solve is now never a difficulty
you gave us a sense of pride and dignity
for maths will now be easy peasy
In years to come
when we are all older
with our sons in this school
please nurture them like you did to us
that i hope is not to hard to ask
For a friend for a teacher
to the person who nurtured us into gentlemen
we never did want to make you cry
now thanking you with our arms ever so wide
forever a teacher you will be in our lives.
