We lost it
Our trust
Our love
Our friendship

I guess you got too caught up
With your new friends
Becoming a stranger to me
Someone I never knew existed

Why did you want to be with them?
They don't have they're own lives
So you just want to trade your original self
For a copy of someone who is just horrible?

Who are you?
You're not the one I knew
You're not the person
That promised to always be there for me

You know what?
We didn't lose it
I tried to hold on to it
But you lost it

You lost my trust
You lost my love
You lost my friendship
You lost me

After all this is over
And you want me back
I just have one thing to say to you
You lost me, and now you will never find me

    I went through something like this a while back. I met someone who I thought really cared for me. Turns out he just loved using me as a slave. Anyway this poem is a reflection of how I feel! 5/5
