A Hesitation

by Jamin Huchingson   Oct 15, 2007

The temptation of any situation
Is the hesitation; in your voice
The contemplation of a choice
Between right and wrong

Strung along
While you preferred the latter
As if the memories didn't matter
Stuck in the wickedness of your deceitful ways
The reason I face everyday dazed
And in a haze

So I can't reflect on why you neglect
To even acknowledge, your knowledge
That the feelings you have; you hide
Trap them in your fakeness, and tucked inside

The reasons, I just don't know why
You rather live a lie
Didn't want you to apologize
Rather change your ways
And reflect how you really feel inside

But the temptation of any situation
Lies in the hesitation of her voice
The contemplation of a choice
