I Used To Have a Shadow

I used to have a shadow
walking by my side
We used to talk for hours..
until the sun would rise.
Angels came to claim him,
ended it so fast..
took him to the sky,
and put him in my past.-
I am walking slowly,
talking to myself..
I no longer have a shadow,
I have nobody else.
