Once upon a time
There lived a very sad boy
He was treated differently
His life knew no joy.

He was picked on
He was teased
They watched him suffer
They watched him bleed.

Then a new girl came along
And brought his life some meaning
They ran to another world
Where nothing is as it seems.

They built their towers tall
They fought their battles well
I mean, what with school
And family as well.

She put it all together
He painted life
They imagined, together,
A world to bury their strife.

And what an amazing world it was
They named it accordingly
They could never wait for school to finish
So they could adventure a bit more.

He went out one day
He didn't invite the girl
She swung across the river
The rope broke and she fell.

Wen he got home
His family told him the bad news
He didn't believe them
Until he found the broken rope.

It was his world
It was her world
It was their world
The world that they made up.

He thought she might be hiding
Within their worlds' boundaries
But she didn't come
She was gone.

They had shared everything
They had been best friends
And he had been in love with her
But now she was dead...

How cruel life can be...
