Silence (symbolic)

by AlyssaBrook   Oct 20, 2007

I love to write poems with a bit of symbolism in them. See if you can find this one's. :]

Walking down the Corridor of Deceit
Pebbles leaping past my feet
Gloom obscurity concealing the light
Yellow glares jeering the fight
Diamond tears of torturous recollections
Words from tongues with cruel intentions
Listening for some heroic aid,
Whatever was left; begins to fade
Gazing into eyes I once knew,
Beginning to realize the lies were true
Despondency; the light of day
Too much to do, so little to say
Hearing the beat of life's Eternal Soul
Leaving behind, one no longer whole
Living off the lunacy inside
The True Meaning, trying not to hide
