Forsaken Heart (Triquatrain)

by Wallace   Oct 20, 2007

Thy heart of mine, was once divine
Afore thou deed to part
For thy shall vow, That I am now
Someone's forsaken heart

True love resigned, for thou entwined
An everlasting plague
Thy heart condemned, as one's content
Entombed thy soul in vague

Thy heart bestowed, as thou abode
An unforgiven deed
Yet thou remains, to strain thy veins
Luring thy heart in greed

Thy heart of mine, was once divine
Afore thou deed to part
For thy shall vow, That I am now
A lost forsaken heart

*The Triquatrain form was created by Robert L. Huntsman. It is a quatrain poem in tri-rhyme

This poem was ok... you've tried to make it too fancy and I hate that. But the poem was decently written and you've kept to the guide very well. 4/5

    Beautiful! Love it all...the style....flow...word choices....rhyming...all flawless!

Very well constructed using the form and Old English....impressive!

    Beloved Christ Jesus.

You have such talent, I have came across such beautiful poems before but you capture such beautiful thoughts to the reader.

    That last four lines...

Such memories sparked through my mind... such memories that were though once forgotten, now remembered.

This poem, such tragic anger, hate, and desolateness is the source of fuel entering my body. Those loved ones... they are all coming back...

How I felt so happy... so bliss... until the day they left me... all alone... heart broken.
