and for the slightest of moments
The world can't see me.

Oh only for a moment the world begins to fade.
I can rest, I can hold onto you and I feel safe.
For a moment, oh a moment its not so bad.
Your warmth shields me from the cold.
For a moment I'm a little girl,
Living out her childish fantasy.
For a moment your here to stay.
For a moment I shed a silent tear,
knowing the second I open my eyes,
I'll soon wake from this pleasant dream,
The one I never want to leave.
The one it hurts to live.
My only escape, the only place
where I can run away.
Yet at the same time..
is the cause of all my pain.
