That Boy

That boy means the world to me,
The one you'd totally look past.
Never even giving him a second glance,
Or a chance to prove his worth.

He's the one I love,
The one with the sparkling green eyes.
The boy that takes my breath away,
And makes my heart beat real fast.

He has my heart,
It lies in his hands.
I'm not sure why,
But I couldn't be happier.

I'm safe inside his arms,
This is where I was meant to be.
I hope he never lets me go,
I never told him he had me from hello.

I'll wish upon a star,
Hoping he'll love me back.
Because I'll love him forever,
That boy you'd never notice.
