The Pain Subsided

Life was nothing without you.

I spent every waking moment by your side.

Not a care in the world for anything but you.

Now I realize that was a mistake.

You changed into a person that I could not love.

For I thought you were the one.

I left you in the curb with with your other special "someone."

You went behind my back so many times.

I gave 4-5-6 7! different chances.

I made a mistake, mistook you for someone else.

You hurt me so bad.

But that was in the past.

For I am not in pain anymore.

I'm too smart for that.

I deserve better than what you gave me.

I am strong!
