It does not matter

Just because your older
people say we won't work out
but I think its going well
were having fun no doubt

you never made me do things
that I did not want to do
and for that good reason
I have respect for you

just because of our age
does not mean this is not real
because if this really wasn't
I would not feel the way I feel

we never really did things
that we weren't suppose to do
but just because we didn't
does not mean I don't love you

    It's true, even if there's an age difference, it doesn't mean there shouldn't be love. The structure is nice. As for the rhymes, I think you overuse the you-do rhyming, try to be more original. Overall nice poem 5/5
