Fortunate I

by EmptyEyes   Nov 7, 2007

I dream of a nightmare to keep myself alive.

Infinite hours of night consume my sense of time.
This chaotic scenery is narcotic sublime.
A constant pain rings in the drums of my ear.
Incessant stings filled with poison are all I hear.

Light will only strain your enlarged pupils
Any kind of sense experience would be to extreme.
Not enough energy, to let out a scream.
I dare you to try to tell me what this trepidation means.
And...
I dreamed of a nightmare to keep myself alive.

So I know this life, I am fortunate to live.
I have found my Light that will always reside inside.
Reality, cruel as its intent may be,
Please don't have this girl leave me

Then my dream of that nightmare
No more would it be just a dream.
It'll be more than a horrendous reality
And I'll live in a state of complete insanity
For the rest of my life and eternity.
