Telling Time (Winter Ends)

by Nina09   Nov 7, 2007

When winter ends
And the summer's sun shines
Spring flowers still beautiful
Kisses gone, warmth gone

Some nights went cold
Tears fell in the darkness
When you are gone
Nothing seems right until,
I am back in your arms

When winters nights
Snow ball fights
Star shined bright
Holding me close wishing,
Never to awake

Spring's flowers tell me,
You'll leave soon
And the dream is over
That is the way I tell time

When winter ends
And summer's sun shines
Spring's flowers still beautiful
Kiss gone, warmth gone

Telling time is what I'm good at
Snow melts, sun shines
Flowers Bloom, dreams end
Just like clock work

After it's all over it re-plays,
Over and over something I deal with
Because you stand by your man
Take care of him until, winter ends

Telling time, some nights went cold
Tears fell in the darkness
When you are gone
Nothing seems right until,
I am back in your arms

Sitting here counting down time
When winter ends
Spring's flowers still beautiful
Kisses gone, warmth gone
