Hear me cry

by Sarah Christine   May 9, 2004

Can you hear me cry?
An insignificant sound,
I reach for you,
face falls flat on the ground.
No where to touch
no where to hold,
I am awake,
in the infinite cold.
Can you hear me cry?
Thunder with every tear,
I search for you,
but you're no where near.
I sit and wonder,
were you meant for me?
Are you the one to break my heart
or here to set me free?
Can you hear me cry?
Tormented and torn apart,
you and only you
is where I place my heart.
Attempt to hear me cry,
for the pleasures are unknown.
Seek inside my heart,
for a love that could be grown.
