Never more do I feel happiness
No longer does it show
I don't remember the feeling
It was so long ago

When I was young and naive
Believing it would last
As tears roll from my eyes
They blind me from the past

Never more do I defend myself
From people and what they do
Though they say hurtful things to me
I can't prove that they aren't true

Never more do I have faith
That better things lie ahead
