Have You Ever...

Have you ever had your heart broken
Without being in love?
Have you ever looked at the ground
Cause the sky was too grey up above?

Have you ever had the unseen scars
That never seem to heal?
Have you ever laid awake and wonder
If the life you lived was real?

Have you ever curled up and cried
Over things that never came true?
Have you ever tried to see the good
When there are so many reasons not to?

Have you ever felt so numb
That you couldn't even leave your bed?
Have you ever though that every new beginning
Lead to a more gruesome end?
