Limitation

Masquerades concealing a multitude of elegant expressions,
tainted frost coved windows which you'll never see into.

Sorry to those shot down and to those whom never made it through,
heavily drenched open fields, a rainbow dissipates from view.

Dark clouds constantly form in the skies above,
so in turn, the muddied ground never seems to dry.

Out stretched arms raised high, yearning for the glow of the sun,
boundaries ignored for hope of a greener pastures.

Howling in the shadow of a old bark tree,
suffering in torment from deeply hidden scores.

Laughter in the eyes of a child, broken and confused,
a young heart suffering with burden amounts limitation.

When the clouds cover the sky ... no one sees the beauty of the sun beneath.

I love this couplet .... and after re-reading the piece a few times the image became so clear.

I must read for all I must say ... you word usage is amazing. I had to re-read the entire poem a few times to completely feel the emotion .... and that makes it an even more amazing piece.
    Wonderful read!

this piece conains so many deep emotions.

Masquerades concealing a multitude of elegant expressions,
tainted frost coved windows which you'll never see into.

Hiding ones self away from bing hurt. This really touched my heart. I have hid for so long.

Out stretched arms raised high, yearning for the glow of the sun,
boundaries ignored for hope of a greener pastures.

Everything beautiful seems just out of reach.

Laughter in the eyes of a child, broken and confused,
a young heart suffering with burden amounts limitation.

    What a very sad ending.
Loved the imagery in this piece.
    Great job!
