Love Is An Understatement.

"We are running away with hopes, can we keep them alive?"
You are all I have ever known; Please don't let me go,
[My eyes plead with yours & the world is as quiet as it gets]
I am fighting this fight; But tell me will it be worth winning?

So close to giving up, but the question that lingers is:
"Do you want to fall back in love?"
[My legs are prepared to leap, just in case you leave again]
-I have prayed for this day, now I hope that it will last..

For once I am not [scared] to wear my heart on my sleeve...
"I am hoping you will take it & never let it go"
[Our eyes always seem to light up when we talk about the past]
What that means, I have no clue; I just know I love you

-Your holding me closer than ever before...
"I can't help but cry as I listen to the sound of your heart beat in my ears"
It's all I can do to try & not become everything you need..
We both know neither of us could handle the amazement our love brings.
