Reality

All the hated, and the fated
Went walking in the sand
Some of them are strangers
Most of them your friends

Don’t blame the government
There emotions all for show
Why are they so faceless?
Where did there faces go?

Please don’t ask for god now
He’s sitting upon my shelf
Judas gets out the liquor
And we drink to his health

Where do the angels live?
And where do the angels go?
Please don’t ask our saviour?
For, lord he’s sure to know?

All the hated and the fated
Went flying in the clouds
1st class for all the strangers
Friends all wrapped in shrouds

Listen to the sound of the rain
Look at the blood red snow
Waiting for your last surprise
And you haven’t got far to go

So leave the holy ghosts
And parasitical hosts
And walk with me in the sand
Look as all the strangers
Soon become your friends

"There emotions all for show" should be "their"

    "Please don’t ask our saviour?
For, lord he’s sure to know?" I don't really understand this. The second line certainly shouldn't be a question, but the first is continued on the second, so the first shouldn't have a question mark either.

I liked this poem overall, and my favorite part is about the government, it reminds me of a poem I wrote...I just can't remember what it is called.
