Cycle

by Newbie   Nov 22, 2007

The nest of warm air
Serenade of strings
That breath that slithers
Its way down lower,
And lower, and
Then lower,
Down.
Tempted into submersion
Giant waves lick the tears
When it is done, I’m stranded
By its retreating tides,
– frozen nettles;
Flesh and iron;
Raw and rust –
Weak.
