Im waiting

by Katelyn   Nov 24, 2007

Im waiting for you to call
For today you took my number
I have a front row seat right next to the phone
Ive waited so long almost lost in slumber
Im waiting for that sudden ring
To answer and hear your voice sing
I want to see your bright eyes glow
Imagine that smile Ill never know
Im waiting for me to jump at the sound
I dont care if it startles me
The scare is worth what Ill hear
Just your voice you don’t have to be near
im waiting for that soft sweet sound
Hear your voice and glance around
Making sure no one can see
I want to be alone, just you and me
Im waiting so patiently
But oh how tired Ive grown
Gosh, Ive waited so long
But Ill wait as long as you want
Im waiting as I will forever
Here at home alone
Youre watching as I fall
cause Im waiting not knowing youll never call
