A great, yet terrible beauty

by Polaroid   Nov 25, 2007

Rumbling against the window panes.
The rain falls down, heavily,
Roaring as it patters against the asphalt.
Lighting streaks the sky;
bright and frightening.
The thunder follows,
Loud, echoing between the mountains.
I sit watching it, as it destroys nature.
Yet the storm itself is so, beautiful,
As I've never seen before.
It's a great yet terrible beauty.
