Who are we to blame?

by Mark   Nov 25, 2007

Gather around the square digged hole
and prepare to meet my dear old friend
a person with the purest soul
a soul we now to heaven send

While we lowered the shell that surrounds his body
a girl came along with a dead black rose
and just when I began to study
the leafs on the flower turned in to crows

day became night when she rolled her eye
and black wings surrounded the day
and suddenly people just started to die
without any could have a word to say

was it God himself, or death that came?
a mystery of greater divine
or are we just ourselves to blame?
that for death we are all waiting in a line
