Smile

by reckha   Nov 26, 2007

Smile is the only one universal language
That helps us cross any hurdles at every stage

Man has today lost reasons to smile
Any attempts to call this statement false , is futile

A melting Antartica and a Starving Sudan
Are a result of man's own work and not god's plan

Where all that was needed was a 'Thankyou' and a 'Sorry'
Man has written 'War's' horrible story

The large picture looks pathetic and ugly
Drawing us into a state of melancholy

But , just look at what life's smaller things have to give
They give us so many reasons to happily live

A merry go round or a friend's wedding
A high school excursion or a christmas pudding

All the pillow fights you had with your sis
Long drives on your bike or a loving kiss

Aren't these enough to put a smile on your face
So, with your smile brighten up the place

Smile like there is no tomorrow
Who knows today it might end someone's sorrow.
