Sweet Dreams (Are Made of These)

You came to light up my life,
And I get sweet dreams from it all.
When you give me those happy moments,
I remember them in my dreams.

It makes me happy to know,
That I see you when I'm awake and asleep.
Everything that I am now,
I owe it all to you.

The sweet dreams I have,
Are made up of your wonders.
Only you have the power to give them to me,
And I thanks you for that.

With you I never get nightmares,
Because your handsome face is too beautiful.
I always wonder if you'll give them to me,
For the rest of our lives.

I want to thank you for the dreams,
That are so beautiful.
I'll love you for the rest of my life,
My husband to be.

    The way this is about happy love amazes me.. i mostly read poem about sad love. but i don sence 1 part in here about sad emotion. this poem was very lively wirritin.

    I don't know what caught my interest since i find it so simple maybe because of the truthfulness... i find if it so sweet because i know it really came from your heart.

    This is such a sweet poem. It really shows how you feel, and simply too, which is nice. The flow is a bit rocky at times, but for the most part, it was good. I also like that it doesn't rhyme.. shows you can tell your feelings and it can read well without the need of rhyme.
