A Million More Nights... Please?

by Alexandra Jade Brewer   Dec 15, 2007

Slowly moving my head to the side
I smile as my eyelids close
Feeling so relaxed and wrapped in safety
As I hear how you slowly rose

Wishing I could only reach for your hand
And keep you there all night
Feeling more held together then you will ever understand
And wanting to just hold on to you really tight

In just those few hours
Everything always seems so right
I cant even grasp how lucky I am
And I hate when you leave my sight

Sleep takes over my body
And I cant resist its hold on me
But I give in with no quarrels
Knowing your the last one of the night I see
