Inkwell Menagerie

by debbylyn   Dec 17, 2007

Wish that I were
A poet's pen
Where I end
And you begin
Verses of rust
Betwixt and between
Through my window
Ode to a tree
Dance of love
Through a glass darkly
Now you're gone
Killing me softly
Rewind the music box
Unknown silhouette
It would be so simple
Silent chord of death
I stood atop a mountain
As quiet river runs
When you are in need of love
A broken heart lives on
