A dying friendship

by damont   Dec 20, 2007

I thought this love could last

but reality hits hard, cold and fast

i thought you were the one

but it was an illusion

like after staring at the sun

i thought in life one could achieve

unlimited things if he only believed

but fighting is wrong no matter the reason it seems

i fought for your heart and trust

it became an essential must

but all that happened turned into a fuss

i thought i had access to everything

but there is a time when even the fat lady must sing

i thought our friendship was unbreakable

but yet is was made of glass unshapable

i learned about lot of things from my experiences

i come to stop at different periods

end of the road was the choice i found

im going to end this on solid ground
