Homecoming

My back against the wall
My tears hanging from my eyes
Waiting to hit the ground
Yet again and again

How do I say goodbye
How do I explain this just doesn't work
How do I explain my love for you
Well, It just doesn't exist anymore

In love at one time
I love you perhaps
Fading for sure
And the time is just a lapse

My back against the wall
My tears hanging from my eyes
Waiting to hit the ground
Yet again and again

You fight with me over stupidity
Yes, over and over
You leave me confused
Wondering if there is somebody else in your life

If there is, just tell me
It will hurt a little less
Fighting in this war
Throwing our love away I do regret

However, you must realize its not my fault
I never chose to leave you for so long
A little more you could have called

I tried to preserve this feeling
That same one when I said goodbye
But you have forgotten that feeling
As these tears fall from my eyes

I look to you for support
For that feeling of lust
Yet you shun our love
As if there was never an "us"

I do understand reality has finally hit
When I get off that plane
You will not be there to say hello
Yet your saying goodbye forever
Wishing I would forget about you
It's OK its working your dreams are finally coming true.
