Is this really friendship?

When I had my hair spiky, so did you
When I flattened it, so did you
I changed my coat. You copied it
Do you look up to me?

I think you're my friend, people say you are
But do you laugh at me when my back is turned?
Do you join in with the bullies?
Or are you truly my friend?

I remember 3 years ago, you laughed at me when I was beaten up
It hurt and I didn't want to have anything to do with you
But this year it's like you've changed
It's like you want me back. Am I just deluded?

We've started talking again. I think I like it.
My friend used to like you and that got us chatting again.
This year I helped you get with the one you like
But will you repay me?

From what I've seen so far I don't think so.
You bully me in lessons now and act like you're the best
I now see the way you used me
And now you'll forget me once again.

Why do I take this? Why don't I just move?
I don't know really. I think I like you too much.
We have our jokes, our private moments
But we only use them when no one else is around

So is this really friendship?
Or are we just pretending
To like each other when inside is full of hate.
Do you really like me? Or should I just move on?
