The final Goodnight

by Julie   Dec 27, 2007

Cold Tears,
Like a rushing stream.
Fall against her cheeks,
As you scream.

Warm Blood.
Like the fire of your pain,
fall from her lips,
As you curse her name.

You give her hell,
for your mistake.
She never says a word,
For you are a fake.

She stares at you,
With those wide brown eyes.
As her heart,
Slowly dies.

Hit after hit,
She takes all of this,
Waiting for the crashing,
Of your booming fist.

Standing strong,
she keeps her head high,
Waiting for your pain,
To finally pass by.

You throw a punch,
That knocks her down.
Crashing like thunder,
As she hits the ground.

She finally speaks,
a Few short words,
To set you straight,
to face the world.

"I wont let you win,
not this fight,
Ill be the one,
To say goodnight."
