Unpalatable

by Rebecca   Dec 31, 2007

Love mixed with hate
Never tasted so foul.
Night and day revolt
As the cool wind howls.

Unsafe from blistering pain
No taste is left, but bitter salt.
Unable to swallow, only gag
Poison-like taste, it's your fault.

Calmness mixed with anger
Never tasted so sour.
The sun and storms revolt
As the lifeless trees cower.

Unsafe from unpleasant greed
No need is left, but survival.
Unable to consume, only suppress
An unpalatable taste is my rival.
