Revisited

Door crashes through
evil pours in
in the masked shape of persecution
scrambling and scattering round
bullets blazing nearer
as i hide away,
echoed screems ring through my ears,
eery silence...

...heart races frantically
panting with panic,
a cold hand places itself on my shoulder
an icy tear runs down my face
i turn around...

...nothing.

I look forward again,
the story of horror
encrypted between the lines
marked on my families final resting place
I stretch my body once more
cold air dries my throat
Before heading back
back to today
alone.
