New Chapter in my life

Another year,
Another chapter in my life.
A new time to start over,
And wipe clean all my mistakes.
Start over new and begin writing again.

I will start with the fact that I haven't changed
I have gotten sick of pretending
And I am tired of hiding it.
I haven't changed,
I have just stopped pretending to be happy.

I hope the new chapter in my life
Begins with new friends
Because I can't take the ones I have now.
I need someone new
Someone I can understand
And someone who understands
The way I feel.

I want a new life too
A new life to start over again
Forgive and forget
And have trial and error.

I just want this chapter to be worth living for
