Tears are streaming down my face silently.
mascara making my cheeks cloudy black.
fists clenched, knuckles white.
teeth together and lips trembling.

sitting in the corner.
with no lights on.
door locked, windows shut.
frame broke and picture ruined.

too long have i been suffering like this.
too long i've been in pain.
not anymore.
it ends tonight.
as i drift into sleep.
