Take these dreams

by Brandon Lee   Jan 7, 2008

Filled with devastation, my regrets leave me shaken.
At the rise of my jealous tides, I feel only desperation.
The longing to hold you never to be forsaken.
I feel in my stomach a monster soon to be awakened.
I would rather live with the regrate, wondering what might have been.
Than to loose you in my life, loose you as a precious friend.
I thought this true till these dreams began.
Now I'm begging for the touch, just one touch of your skin.
It places me in paradise, the slightest feeling of your hand.
I would so gladly change our past if it were something I could relive.
I would work to make us closer, to make you more than just my friend.
Its seems that the one thing I want, to be that which I can not have.
It pains me to feel so caged, being free for a moment when I hear your sweet laugh.
If this is the closest we will ever be, I want these feelings to release.
If being with you is something never to be seen, I want to be free.
If there will never be, something as sweet as you and me.
Than I beg the heavens please.
Grant me mercy and take these dreams.
