Never the Same

by Noelle Wright   Jan 7, 2008

You changed my life dramatically
and now its not the same
You used me as a victim
In your own sick twisted game
I was innocent and untouched
By the hands of a man
But my virginity was taking
By your force and strong demand
You laugh at me and hold me down
I'm speechless but am i to say
You robbed me of so many things
And only in just one day
The covers couldn't save me
From what you had in mind
Your hands so cold and rough
Your eyes look so unkind
How did this happen to me
I have always been so good
I guess the saying is true
Life never goes the way it should

I really like how you worded this poem and the way you put it in the readers perspective instead of 3rd person. i think that adds so much to it. keep it up :)
