Silent Screams

by keithnwv   Jan 8, 2008

We found a bond, a connection
some wanted it finished
our words we do not speak
still we continue to connect

thru the silence I hear you
a glance thru a window
a look from across the room
the bond still holds strong

we care to much to walk away
I hurt when you are hurting
I see the pain in your eyes
it could be a reflection from mine

our silent screams they do not hear
their hearts cold with envy
one day our words will be spoken
until then the screams are deafening

    Keith,
After reading all these beautiful poems that are so bittersweet and full of friendship that has been broken. Not by the friends but some unknown to me force. Friends will make it through it. When the silent screams are finally heard they will be so deafening to the people that didn't allow this to happen naturally. Beautifully penned my friend and good luck.
