Write A Letter

I was going down a lonely road,
Just walking by myself.
This road has been so rocky and cold,
Since the day i placed my heart on a shelf.

The days go by so long and dreary,
Nothing on this path seems to get better.
My soul seem so lost and so weary,
So i decide to write a letter.

"First of all i want to know,
God where are you now.
For all the times I needed you you never show,
But i still have faith in you somehow."

"Mom oh Mom oh what can i say?
i miss your caring traits.
I'm so sorry that is had to be this way,
I wish I never made so many mistakes."

"Dad now i never really knew you,
You left me at such a very young age.
Can you please tell me, what did i do,
I need to know so i can turn the page."

"To grandma and Grandpa how i miss you so much,
Before i left, you both gave me the best of luck.
And told me to always keep in touch.
But somehow i feel like that is just not enough."

"To my boyfriend of two years,
Please tell me where you are.
For you I've cried so many tears,
And the absence of your love has left a scar."

I look up from my letter,
And see far past the sky.
And realize the only way this will ever get better,
Is to go home and stop asking why.

So to my feet again i arise,
And look down this lonely path.
Then take off running to give my loved ones a big surprise,
Where the love for me will forever last.
