3-D

by Justin King   Jan 9, 2008

Have you ever wished you could see the world
Through someone else's eyes?
Would it be a staggering thing beauty?
Or a world of darkness and lies?

A world of riches,
The proprietor of mankind's most venal dreams.
One with no need for idealism,
And no one there to share in these so coveted things.

A world of discreditable poverty,
The scapegoat of society's everyday affronts.
A family in tattered clothing around a fire,
Yet happily holding hands with no need for wants.

A world in between,
A family living their days having everything they need.
Never once being rich nor poor,
And yet longing for wants happiness is impeded by greed.

Three different perspectives,
Each a world of unlimited possibility.
Life's not always how you imagine it.
Try opening your eyes to a world in 3-D.
