Past Regrets

It hurts me when I talk to you.
I know you hate me still.
I would go back in time to prevent this from happening, but I don't regret the past.
I still wish things would go back to normal, or as normal as it was before.
I know I can't go back in time, I don't even want to try.
I just wish none of this ever happened so I wouldn't be feeling this regret.
I want to be your friend, but it's hard to even speak.
You seem so lifeless now that time has past, and I think I know why.
All because of you, I am dying inside and I don't know why.
