The Devils Game

by Alexandra Jade Brewer   Jan 15, 2008

Huddled in the darkened corner
Not willing to let her smile shine
Hating the world in all its glory
As she crosses that demonic line

Laughing at the poor lost souls
Thinking; that used to be me
Giving into the devils temptations
Knowing he's everything she wants to be

Tying someone's laces together
Than running away ecstatically
Causing windows to smash and break
Now it happens so automatically

There harmonic laughter
Rings through the cold forbidden air
Devil and child one by one
Living off each, cruel hearted dare

He took control of her whole being
Never will he ever let go
She slowly succumbs with every breath
Her hand in his is what she has to show
