Love's Like Suicide

Deep within the dead of night
Where solitude has left its mark
I can feel all of your love for me
Silently shatter in the penetrating dark

Filled with jet-black nothingness
I'm hoping to get rid of this despair
You know what you've done to me
Too bad you just don't effing care

And you've left me here all alone
To feed the emptiness of my soul
But this feeling is overwhelming me
Like my heart will never again be whole

And every line etched upon my skin
Is a path leading to a broken heart
Every tear that trails down my face
Is another reason why we broke apart

Now every time I hear your name
And every single time I see your face
A part of me dies on the inside
There are too many memories to erase

But even though you've hurt me so
You should never have any doubt
That if given the chance, I'd do it over
Because that's what love's all about

. . .

Love's like suicide.

    ^ i understand this......once a heartbreaks, it can never be put together fully...you lose some of the pieces.....great job on this stanza

    ^ this is the best thing i have read all day....this is seriously amazing. (u have trials, i think u mean trails)
