Unsure (You, Me, And Everybody Else)

by ALEX   Jan 17, 2008

Among the silent,
words I taste.
With harsh vibrations,
words I waste.

Crumpled pages,
become my identity.
Discarded passages,
I'm not lost, entirely.

Into the rivers,
among the moon and stars,
Sparkle both our reflections,
both too near and too far.

I just read a couple of your poems and I must say, I thoroughly enjoy your writing style. This poem in particular: lighthearted, but with a clear tone of desperation/doubt?

I admit that I may be misinterpreting the poem, or simply reading too much into it, but I felt as though the last stanza was somewhat lacking compared to the first two. The allusions/metaphors in the last stanza are not as distinct as the first two... just an observation.

All in all, excellent work - I hope you use my comments to try and see another point of view of your material that it might improve. You have some of the best work I've read on this forum. Bravo!

Like your imagery and very much like your style of writing.
Will now go and view some more of your work and will bookmark you to return.

    All the best.
