Questions For The Dead

by GoyaCracker   Jan 18, 2008

How will you know when you're dead?
When will you know that the thin line has been crossed?
That you're not coming back?

Will there be a white light?
A red hot flame?
The ceasing of all pain?
Or maybe a heightening of pain?

Will it feel like flying?
Like drowning?
Like falling forever?

Will your body feel like lead?
Or, perhaps, air?

Is there really a heaven or hell?

Do you just stop breathing?
Just cease to exist?
Are you no longer aware of your surroundings?
Or can you hear what's going on?
Do you still feel?
Do you still know?

Is it like a never-ending dream?
Or maybe a nightmare?

Unable to wake up, unable to communicate,
Can anyone hear you screaming out to them?

Before you are forever laid to rest,
Answer my questions...
