Six Billion And One

by Gee McC   Jan 22, 2008

Here I lie in the perfect silence
My own breathe the only sound
I become that different person
That I am when no ones around

All the lies and all the betrayals
Come seeping out into my mind
From where I warily stashed them
For no one else but me to find

The scars they still cling to me
Like the ocean clings to the shore
I used to search for happiness
But I doubt it's worth it anymore

You broke down all my barriers
Some one finally began to see
The girl who was so miserable
Who is still hiding inside of me

I am not going to just disappear
The minute you close your eyes
We both know you won't forget
So you don't have to act surprised

This world it is black and white
So I will take the steps to change
And once I have flown away
I won't be coming back here again

You wont forget my memory
How together we once flew,
Otherwise well fall together
The one who keeps me flying is you
