In A HeartBeat.

by Teria   Jan 25, 2008

Words to close my heart,
they come and go in a heartbeat.

Gone in a second - I know it's real.
Broken down in pieces ...
just to be picked back up,
because the feeling is amazing.

His lips they mouth the world,
spinning within my mind.
And, his touch it lines the square,
broken from my beating heart.

It's like a feeling of completeness,
yet complete emptiness.
You've finally found the truth,
with nothing else to have - -

But, you know deep inside . . .
it's more than what you think;
For, he's slowly becoming . . .
your everything.

And, at times it seems confusing,
a tad bit ironic and useless.
Though, you know it's far from that,
You can't help but thinking;

Words to close my heart,
take me back away - -
to who I was last month,
yearning for something more . . .

But, they come and go in a heartbeat.
