My son

You bring sunshine to my darkness,
A calmness to my life,
You are a very part of me,
You are the son of my ex-wife.

I love to watch you grow,
Every amazing thing you do,
You will always be a part of me,
We are stuck together like glue.

I'm going to do my best,
To always be there for you,
Any request or help you need,
I'll do my best to subdue,

You are my son,
And I love you so much,
For it is my life,
That you will forever touch.

    This is a really sweet poem and i love how you are aboe to show emotion and tell how you feel. i think that your son will grow into a strong man. well written and very impressive.
