Unanswerable Questions

by Kellie   Jan 25, 2008

Many ask us what is life and life is what we give.
For those who say that life is short, they've forgotten how to live.
Uncertainty bars a lifetime with unanswerable questions.
And their destiny goes astray with this useless obsession.

No wonder for escapists, dreamers, and for hope.
With out ours dreams to dream at night how else are we to cope?
Bordering on insanity but who is there to blame?
It's those tormented souls who deliver us their pain.

What happens after death? Is there a heaven and a hell?
But why should people dwell on what happens from farewell?
Is it the unknown that taunts at peoples minds?
From the stress that it is to cause it only binds their time.

However heaven and hell are closer than is known.
From what I believe we make it on our own.
What fate has in store for us is up to the beholder.
But what is it that makes our life from blacker or to golder?

Heaven is a merciful soul, to have a tranquil seeing.
A fantasy of forever, and not a cynical being.
Living for eternity with never ending peace.
Remembrance of blissful thoughts so happiness never cease.

I am saddened to say that a hell is where I am living.
Nothing is ever free they always want something for giving.
Murder, rape, and torture, it makes me want to yell.
I guess it's true what people say- It is hard to find angels in hell.
